Kristen Bulfer joined the Waukesha State Bank mortgage team in March of 2017 as a mortgage consultant. She learned quickly and leveraged her strengths, which earned her the Rising Star award at the 2019 Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association’s Best in Business ceremony. In 2023, Kristen’s continued growth and exceptional performance in the mortgage industry earned her the WMBA’s Mortgage Banker of the Year for Milwaukee award. Kristen was promoted to mortgage consultant - team lead in 2024, and in addition to originating mortgage loans, she is also responsible for mentoring and coaching assigned mortgage consultants in all facets of mortgage banking.

Kristen holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and loves helping people achieve their home ownership goals by navigating the complex and ever-changing mortgage landscape. She and her family currently reside in Pewaukee, and she primarily serves the Menomonee Falls location.

David Curran, Mortgage Consultant, came to Waukesha State Bank in July 2018. He has 16 years of residential lending experience and holds a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He has extensive knowledge in a variety of loan programs and is ready to work with customers to find the best mortgage solution to meet their financial needs.

Kyle Geis started his career with Waukesha State Bank in 2006 as a teller. Over the next five years, he took on various roles and responsibilities within retail banking, ending as a personal banker. In 2011, he made a career shift to the mortgage team, assuming the role of a mortgage consultant. His tenure in this role has been notably successful, earning him the prestigious Best Loan Originator in Milwaukee award at the 2023 Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association’s Best in Business ceremony. He was promoted to mortgage consultant - team lead in 2024. In addition to originating mortgage loans, he also mentors and coaches assigned mortgage consultants in all facets of mortgage banking.

Kyle specializes in WHEDA, VA, USDA and construction loans and is committed to guiding his clients through the mortgage process, from start to finish. He and his family currently reside in Lisbon, and he primarily serves the Downtown Waukesha and Meadowbrook Road offices in Waukesha.

Scott Hart joined the Waukesha State Bank Mortgage Team in 2015 as the Assistant Manager and Sales Trainer and was promoted to Senior Sales Manager in January of 2017. He has been in the industry since 1997 where he’s worked side-by-side with top real estate brokers, developers and new home construction professionals throughout the Waukesha County and greater Milwaukee area.

Scott has been selected as Milwaukee Magazine’s Five Star Mortgage Professional every year since 2011, has been named a President’s Club Award recipient from 2004 to 2012, and was nominated as the MBA Lender of the Year in both 1999 and 2000.

Sherri Krabath, Mortgage Consultant, came to Waukesha State Bank in March 2017 with over 20 years of residential lending experience. She specializes in helping customers find the right loan program to meet their goals. Read more about Sherri.

Tim Lammers started his career with Waukesha State Bank in May of 2022 and has over 20 years of residential lending experience. As a seasoned mortgage loan originator, Tim has experience originating Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, portfolio, construction, bridge, and government mortgage loans. Tim holds a bachelor's degree in business adminsitration from Carroll University. His objective is to consult and help his customers obtain a loan that best fits their needs based on their credit, job situation and personal goals.

Juliet Martinez started her career with Waukesha State Bank in 2016 as a Waukesha West High School co-op student. In January of 2017, she was promoted to customer service representative and continued in this role while simultaneously attending the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Juliet was promoted to assistant teller supervisor in February of 2019, and after graduating with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in general business, she was promoted again to personal banker in January of 2021. Her drive to support her customers and peers earned her a promotion to bank manager of the Waukesha State Bank Muskego office in November of 2021 and to Mortgage Consultant in February of 2023. Leo Spanuello, Senior Vice President - Mortgage Lending Manager, joined the Waukesha State Bank team in July 2021. He has over 25 years of residential lending experience, which includes managing and coaching mortgage loan officers, executing sales strategies and originating loans.

Leo is responsible for managing the mortgage lending staff and leading the day-to-day operations of the department, all while continuing the bank’s mission of providing customers with personalized service and a wide range of options to meet all of their home buying and refinancing needs.
